The staff and students at R-PHS are going to learn and have opportunity to become active participants in the Be NICE initiative rolling out to all public schools in Muskegon County.
The Be NICE campaign has four tenets:
- Notice
- Invite
- Challenge
- Empower
Our county and school recognizes the need to address mental health in a positive way so students who might be experiencing a challenge such as depression, excessive worries, bullying, or other mental health risks. A quick view of what our students and staff will engage in this week Monday as we kick off the campaign:

This campaign has great potential to bring just-in-time support to students who might need that extra smile, listening ear or friend that is willing to help them, help themselves.
